The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) has six - 30 hour required real estate courses to meet the real estate education requirement. After these six courses have been completed, the real estate application can be submitted to TREC. TREC will not accept an application before the courses have been completed. Texas State Online offers all six of the required courses.

The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) requires sales person licensees to complete an additional three - 30 hour courses for Salesperson Annual Education (SAE). In addition, TREC requires first year sales person licensees to complete the Legal Update I and Legal Update II courses. All of these courses must be completed before the first year renewal.

The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) requires all sales person and broker licensess to complete 18 hours of Continuing Education (CE) as long as they maintain an active real estate license. All licensees must complete Legal Update I and Legal Update II. In addition, Brokers must complete a Brokers course. Licensees can complete the balance of the required 18 CE hours by taking any approved CE course of their choice.
We also offer CE courses for Commercial Realtors. We fully understand that it is frustrating for commercial realtors to take residential CE courses. for this reason, we also offer some CE courses focused on commercial real estate.
